Barnsley Football Club managed an historic FA Cup run in 2007, beating Premiership giants Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield and defending champions Chelsea 1-0 in order to reach the semi-finals for the first time since 1912 , where they narrowly lost out 1-0 to fellow Championship side Cardiff City at Wembley .
