Brief History
Preston North End Football Club were a founder member of the English Football League in 1888 and were the first English football champions .They reached the play-offs in 2005 where they once again reached the final in Cardiff after beating Derby County in the semi-final, however once again they were beaten in the final, this time by West Ham United .
